Estimator
To analyze specifications, scopes and documentation to provide accurate cost estimates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writes estimates off estimation scopes provided by Adjusters up to an unlimited amount.
- Prepares diagrams from HAAG reports.
- Communicates with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization’s quality program(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required. Residential/Commercial Building License and Adjusters license preferred.
Experience
Three (3) years of experience writing estimates required.

- Ability to use appropriate system(s) to determine Replacement Cost or Actual Cash Value [ACV]
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

- Be able to lift/ carry up to 50 pounds
- Be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Be able to drive up to 4 hours a day.
